Job Description:
Are you passionate about providing high-quality care to patients in the field of oral surgery? We are seeking a dedicated Clinical (Surgical) Assistant to join our esteemed oral surgery practice located in the Marion, Ohio area.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our oral surgeons, ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients, and contributing to the smooth operations of our office.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations Provide airway management and monitor vital signs during surgical procedures Assist the oral surgeon during surgeries, including setting up and cleaning rooms, sterilizing instruments, and stocking supplies Take and review X-rays, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning Assist with consultations and other patient interactions, demonstrating excellent customer service skills Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and provide patient care Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, completing insurance forms, and maintaining patient records Participate actively in team meetings and promote a collaborative team environment Skills:
Proficient in medical terminology and documentation Experience in pediatrics and understanding of pediatric care Ability to perform dental receptionist duties Knowledge of WinOMS software for managing patient records Competent in assisting with medical procedures and surgeries Familiarity with software for medical applications Strong understanding of human body systems and their functions Requirements:
Excellent understanding of customer service and dedication to providing high-quality patient care Ability to exercise critical thinking skills and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Upbeat energy and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in day-to-day tasks with enthusiasm Current radiology license preferred, but not required (training provided if needed) Minimum of one year of experience and/or training in a medical or dental field preferred Good computer knowledge and willingness to learn new technologies How to Apply:
