Provide service and installation of upward acting doors (overhead garage doors), including fire rated rolling steel doors, high speed fabric doors, and bi-fold doors.
Duties:
This position is first and foremost a customer service representative, as such a back ground in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred, but not required.
Prepares equipment by loading and unloading vehicles; assembling and disassembling equipment.
Supports installation and transport of materials by operating equipment such as scissor lift, boom lift, fork lift.
Completes preventive maintenance requirements by inspecting overhead doors, fasteners, welds, attachment points, and operators for correct operation and upkeep Maintains assigned vehicle by completing inspections and operator's repairs; reporting problems to vehicle maintenance.
Serves customers/clients by providing requested/needed services; answering questions; offering assistance.
Maintains records by completing job assignment, collecting photographs of all products including model and serial numbers, maintaining clear notes and records of all work completed or needing completed.
Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations, including proper PPE and safety gear.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training at manufacturer/partner facilities; reviewing publications.
Contributes to team environment.
