torts, puffs, caramel, and all areas assigned to production.
Assist and contribute to various areas of training; become self-reliant in each.
Responsible for slurry mixing, raw material handling, production record keeping on material and machinery usage and downtime.
Responsible for all on-line testing of product.
Must be able to trouble shoot problems with logic and apply technical knowledge.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Must abide by all plant rules and food safety regulations, including work, safety and sanitation rules.
Housekeeping and cleaning is a requirement.
DUTIES 1.
Training and contributing in areas assigned.
2.
Become efficient in all facets of production needs.
Maintain 5S boards.
3.
Contribute own ideas and suggestions for improvement in each area trained.
4.
Mixes slurries and handles raw materials.
5.
Maintains production records in material usage, machine downtime, coordination and communication with Area Manager, Warehouse, Maintenance, Packers and Quality Assurance.
6.
Performs all on-line testing of product, including salt, density, oil and any other necessary testing.
7.
Performs specific and detailed job duties, manage tool boards.
Manage raw materials.
8.
Performs other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Snack food environment - housekeeping, cleanliness essential.
Works with moving parts and equipment.
Safety precautions essential.
Must be alert, aggressive, mature individual with a sense of urgency always.
Mechanically oriented, ability to learn many complex duties.
Must be able to work well with co-workers and supervision in a team environment.
Must be able to lift bags of ingredients and other items weighing up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
Must have the manual skill and dexterity to move and work around heavy machinery throughout the plant.
Must have good basic math skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be able to communicate in English clearly in both verbal and written form.
Must be able to endure hot and cold temperatures in the work environment.
Safety shoes and earplugs are mandatory in designated areas.
As a food processing facility, facial hair is not allowed.
